Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) is a small public airport that is located about five kilometres to the southwest of Myrtle Beach City's central business district in South Carolina. It offers modest but efficient passenger services to accommodate the thousands of travellers that go through it each year. Myrtle Beach Airport is located on what was once the site of Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. It was originally a hub for Hooters Air before it had to close in 2006. US Airways is currently the dominating carrier in the airport. Myrtle Beach International is composed of a single terminal housed in a two-storey building. Information desks are located at the main entrance and at other key areas around the terminal. Passengers will also find ATMs, currency exchange counters and basic business services at the airport.
