Stockholm Airport or, more specifically, Stockholm – Arlanda Airport is the largest airport in Sweden and the primary international air gateway into the country. It handles more than 18 million passengers every year and provides domestic and international flights coming to and from a number of destinations all over the world. This makes it one of the major budget car rental hubs in the region.

Stockholm Airport is composed of four passenger terminals and 64 gates. Terminals 2 and 5 serve international flights while 3 and 4 are for domestic connections. Between terminals 4 and 5 is the Sky City, a shopping centre that features a number of modern passenger amenities including options for car hire at the Stockholm Airport, dining facilities and shopping opportunities.

Wireless internet access is available all throughout the airport. Passengers will also find internet kiosks and public computers set up while family travellers are welcome to use the play areas, nursery rooms and baby change facilities while waiting for their flights.

Stockholm Airport houses a number of retail stores that sell a wide range of merchandise – from electronics and travel accessories to clothes and souvenir items mostly at the Sky City. Dining options are also diverse with most of the restaurants located in Terminal 5.

Aside from arranging for cheap car hire at the Stockholm Airport, passengers can get to the city centre and other destinations in Sweden through rail and bus services. There are three railway stations located at the airport. One is under the Sky City and serves long distance destinations. A second one is under Terminal 5 and a third is located at the exits of Terminal 2, 3, and 4 serving express trains to the city.
