Great service

Great service from beginning to end. No hassle, everything was straightforward with the booking process and the hire company. Nice thought of the hire company giving us an upgrade of the hire car, thank you, but we swapped back to an 'ordinary' car which we were very happy with. The staff, when picking up the car and dropping it off, were very pleasant, very friendly and very courteous. Will definitely use your company again when returning to the UK.

I'm a return customer

This is the second time I've used 121 car hire so obviously I was happy the first time too. This time I got a free upgrade from the most simple car available to a Vauxhall Astra estate, practically brand new. I was completely happy with every aspect of the whole process and paid around eighty to ninety pounds sterling for seven days hire which is unbelievably cheap. The only thing I could pick at if forced to mention something would be....If I don't want to pay for a better insurance policy than the basic one included, just take no for an answer. I don't want to hear horror stories about what could happen if I don't take out the "SUPER" insurance, I'm an optimist. In other words, one "No, I'm not interested thank you." should be enough. (I get it every time I hire a car from any company though, not just 121. They must all be on commission or something.) Anyway, bottome line....very happy customer and will surely be using 121 again. Many thanks, George. :-)

Great service,no hidden extras

The pick up was speedy and efficient and the staff were friendly.i purchased the waiver insurance in advance so there were no hidden extras. The car was clean ,new and economical ( a Kia ceed) I had lost my car rental document but they managed to find my booking! I would certainly book with them again .

Easy to book & use

I would definitely book through 121 carhire.com. HOWEVER-NOTES TO OTHERS-Manchester Airport (MAN) has MOVED all car rentals. This information was NOT provided to me. Nor was Green Motion (the car rental place that I actually got the car from) NOT located at the actual airport! It was a NIGHTMARE finding them. Luckily the phone# was printed on the booking certificate. It was SO DIFFICULT figuring out where Green motion was located=it is NOT in the Radisson as was indicated on the documents. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH GREEN MOTION if you do not want to go through complete hassle.

Very friendly service

I was treated at all times as an old friend: this may be partly due to the customary Lancashire character but it was like a breath of fresh air. First name terms were used which I particularly liked. There was only one flaw - the vehicle panel indicated that a service was due, from the first day and the engine did feel as though it needed a bit of attention. Otherwise, it was all first rate

We have collect the car from GreenMotion hollidayInn Heathrow, it was easy and fast, the price was the lowest among all rentals, the car was in perfect condition, and the drop-of prosses took no longer than 5 minutes. highly recomended service and rental.

Best Car Hire

Got upgraded to really great car with good price offer. Surprised to find car had sat nav, reversing camera and parking sensors together with cruise control. Diesel fuel just made the experience a joyful one. Service was excellent with friendly staff.

We were dealt with quickly and respectfully both on pick up and return of the vehicle. Downside is the 30 min wait for the shuttle bus if you just miss one.

Very friendly staff. Picked up promptly from the airport and car hire only a couple of minutes from the airport. Website stated car fuel was 1/4 full and return 1/4 full. But this did not happen. I was told by easirent that I had to pay for 1/4 tank (they charged £20) and return empty. However the tank was not quite 1/4 full.

We have used 121

We have used 121 car hire on numerous occasion and always found them to be extremely helpful. The vehicles are always excellent and the staff vey helpful. The service has improved as they are now based within the airport so avoiding having to travel to a pick-up and drop-off location by bus. The only criticism would be that the valentine of the vehicles is obvious carried out by untrained staff - the windows are often not thoroughly cleaned and the interior dashboard on one particular vehicles had obvious only been given a cursory wipe over as it looked greasy.

A great deal all round!

We had a very smooth and efficient pickup. The price was excellent as was the vehicle. I also bought the online insurance as it was better value than buying at the counter - the only downside being that the insurance (in the event of a claim) would have had to be claimed back after payment had been settled up front.

My major problem was in not knowing the supplier BEFORE pressing the button to finalise the booking. I want to know which company will provide the car ahead of booking. I was totally confused by the title Interrent, there was no sign at the Rental office and it was only then that I learned that the supplier was Europcar. Why the mystery? Also I required a rental agreement that allowed me to pick-up and return a vehicle full of fuel. (Pick-up full, return empty is a con.) Luckily the helpful staff allowed me that choice though I suspect they could have refused. So, overall very happy, but I would like more information on the supplier before I commit.
