Exeter is a historical town that was once a very important administrative region. Another place worthy of note in the town of Exeter are the city walls. They’re incomplete, but they speak of a very interesting history, and they add to the city’s charm. Another place in Exeter is the Rougemont Castle, which is one of the few Norman structures remaining today. It’s a nice place to visit, although it’s rarely open to the public.
