I will need a child seat
As child seats are mandatory in most countries, by requesting them in advance they are almost always available. It is important to allow us as much time as possible to confirm them with the suppliers, so please try to let us know at least a week in advance. Please note that you will be required to fit child seats yourself. For older children it is advisable to take your own booster seat with you when travelling.
What are the minimum and maximum ages to rent a vehicle?
This differs from country to country and between rental companies, you will find specific information in the terms section after you have selected your vehicle.
What is DEW?
This is our Damage Excess Waiver product. If your vehicle is damaged the local supplier will charge you, however if you purchase the DEW we will reimburse this charge. Please send us a copy of the supplier accident form, copy of the vehicle check in and check out documents showing the damage being charged, evidence of payments deducted from your credit card, any police reports or other documentation you have to support your claim. This must be send to us within 28 days of the rental end.
Refunds cannot be made against items excluded from the insurance policy (eg tyres, windscreens) or in circumstances which invalidate insurance (such as negligence or operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol) Full details of the exclusions to the insurance cover are available on your rental documentation when you collect your vehicle.
DEW doesn’t cover damage to contents or people in the vehicle, and only covers one incidence of damage over the rental duration (ie if a replacement vehicle is also involved in an incident only the first may be claimed for) DEW doesn’t apply to the theft of a vehicle.
